She is a dedicated member of her community as is reflected in her involvement with various local philanthropic organizations. Maxine participates annually in the Community Servings "Pie in the Sky" fundraising campaign which benefits homebound patients living with AIDS. She has also been elected as Treasurer of the NEWTON REAL ESTATE BOARD, COUNCIL J for the years 1995 through 2000. Maxine has participated in many major Newton and Brookline transactions ranging in price to over three million dollars.
